The barrel, clip and plunger are all made form the recycled PET material. The pen cartridge and spring are not. Bottles made from PET plastic are collected from recycle centers and processed into the an eco material that is formed into the pen parts.
At this time the ink is the the same as most other pens. It is not soy based.
